Company History

Nickey Warehouses, located in Memphis, Tennessee, began in 1940 at 305 West Trigg Avenue. The business still carries the family name of the founders even though they no longer provide public warehousing. The Nickey name is a well-established, influential name in the Memphis business community.

The business was purchased by Henry and Juanita Estes in 1974, and the business has now grown to just over 1.1 million square feet of storage. The business operates in multiple buildings, strategically and conveniently located to all major interstates. This makes Nickey Warehouses a major 3rd party warehousing logistics player in Memphis, the distribution capital of the world. Did you happen to notice Buster?

Buster, a registered, purebred black lab, is the company pet but he also plays a vital role in the business. He is our Director of Security.
